A Virgin Wood

I finished this painting today. It is a piece that I am really pleased with. From inception to completions, this has been a fun painting to make.

Second Time Around

I'm posting one paintings here - the other two that were on this post have been moved to a more recent post with new photos.

Some time ago, I copied a painting of John Karl Claes. I decided to redo the painting leaving the basic composition unchanged but using different colors. This is what it is second time around.

Rumble in the Jungle

I have finished another painting and have a second one in a state of pause. That being I know I will work on it more than it looks to day.

Some House Cleaning

When I realized the large gap that existed between my early posts and my more recent posts, I recently cleaned up a good amount of old posts on this blog. My intention for this blog is a place to display some of my art - both photography and paintings.

So, I play a little catch up here bringing some I posted some time ago into this one that will have several pieces done more recently. The are presented pretty much in the order that I painted them.
